The EU “Access2Markets” (A2M) portal aims to provide European SMEs with an useful new tool in order to improve their trade relations with third countries. Freely available in all official European languages, this tool is designed to provide all business operators and experts with information and statistical data on duties and taxes, customs procedures, rules of origin, product requirements and trade barriers for more than 120 markets around the world. A2M also provides access to key information, needed for trade in services, as well as investment and tenders in non-EU countries. At last, it includes an overview of more than 70 trade agreements the Union has with non-EU countries.
