The COP26 will take place in Glasgow from 1 to 12 November 2021, under the shared presidency of Italy and the United Kingdom. As part of the preparation of COP26, from 28 September to 2 October, Italy will host the event dedicated to young people “Youth4climate: Driving Ambition”. The forum will offer adolescents around the world the opportunity to draw up concrete proposals, which will then be submitted to the examination of Pre-cop and COP26.<\/p>\n
Today was held the meeting in connection between Sofia and Reims, Ambassador Giuseppina Zarra met one of the two Bulgarian delegates at the “Youth4climate: Driving Ambition” forum, Selin Mordeniz.<\/p>\n
As a participant in the working group that will focus on the involvement of non-governmental actors, the young student Selin shared her ideas on how to face the most important challenge of our times, climate change.<\/p>\n
The Ambassador and Selin focused on sustainable production and consumption, on the need to work both at an individual level, but also at a systemic level – public and private – to identify, share and implement the most appropriate solutions in every area of our lives, to prevent the consequences of climate change from becoming irreversible.<\/p>\n
