The new call for proposals has been published as part of the Know-how Exchange Program (KEP). The Programme is entirely financed by the Italian Government through the InCE – BERS Fund.
Launched in 2004, KEP is a development tool aimed at supporting the transfer of competences from EU countries, members of the Central European Initiative (Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Romania, Slovenia, Hungary), to non-EU countries (Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Ukraine) within the CEI region.
By co-financing no more than 50% of technical assistance projects, technology transfer, knowledge and good practice, training seminars and others, KEP offers grants, no more than EUR 40000 per project. Proposals may be submitted by private or public legal entities, including international organisations, have their registered office and operate in the CEI Countries and must concern cooperation initiatives for the benefit of private or public partners having their registered office in non-EU CEI Countries.
The deadline for submission of proposals by public or private legal entities is 21 June 2021.
All the documents, including the guidelines for the call, are available on the website of the Central European Initiative.
