“Immaginario diplomatico” is project conceived and coordinated by Stefano Baldi (http://www.stefanobaldi.org). It is a web site with historical photos (1861-1961) concerning Italian career diplomats of the past. The website is available at the following address: http://www.flickr.com/immaginariodiplo.
The main purpose of the initiative is to preserve significant photographic evidence of the history of Italian diplomats. It is also a contribution to promote the knowledge and to appreciate the Italian diplomatic tradition of many figures, more or less known, which have represented Italy across the world.
