On April 15, on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the Italian genius Leonardo da Vinci, we celebrate the IV Day of Italian Research in the World, established in 2018 by the Ministry of Education, University and Research, in agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Health, with the aim of promoting and enhancing the expertise and contribution of Italian researchers to the world of research as well as the image of Italy producing quality science and innovation.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation organized on March 16 an online event of presentation "Italian innovation - New formats for integrated promotion", available at the following link. The event was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, and by the Presidents of the six research organizations, including: the Italian Space Agency (ASI), the National Institute of Astrophysics (INAF), the National Research Council (CNR), the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN), the National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA) and the National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics (OGS).
Since the beginning of April, the Embassy of Italy in Sofia joins the celebrations with the publication of profiles, with video presentations of some of the most important national research institutes.
Information of online events, organized on the occasion of the Italian Research Day in the World, will also be published.
