Ambassador Giuseppina Zarra participates in the digital award ceremony “Italian hospitality in Bulgaria – Italian restaurants and ice cream parlors in the world”, Ed. 2020/2021
15 restaurants and 2 ice cream parlors were awarded, winners of the “Italian Hospitality-Italian Restaurants and Ice Cream Shops in the World” brand: Adella Restaurant, Come Prima, Da Massimo, I Sensi Tuscany Bistrot, La Bicycle, La Capannina, La Casa di Massimo, Leo’s Il Rustico, Leo’s Pizza Trattoria, Panorama, Ristorante Pizzeria Felicità, Social Cafè Bar & Kitchen, Sopranos, The Residence Exclusive Club, Vip Room, Gelato and Latte e Briciole.
Ambassador Zarra, recognizing the difficult time the catering sector has gone through due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, expressed congratulations to the restaurants and ice cream parlors that have received the certificate and thanked them for their commitment to promoting excellence in Italian cuisine as an expression of Italian culture and way of life, appreciating the responsibility they assume, in an increasingly competitive context, to defend Italian products, their originality and origin.
The initiative is promoted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria in collaboration with Unioncamere and ISNART – National Institute for Tourist Research – and is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, by the Ministry of Economic Development and by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Agri-food Policies.
